Alice Laginhas Henriques, 102, of Trumbull died peacefully March 24 in St Vincent’s Medical Center of Bridgeport, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Taunton, Mass., and was a longtime Trumbull resident.

Her devoted daughter Aurora Montini with whom she resided; her loving son Anibal Henriques and his wife Alona of Sandy Hook; five cherished grandchildren, Antonio Henriques, Liza McCrae, Marisa Jerrell, Alexandra and Amelia Henriques; four beloved great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive Mrs Henriques. Her husband, Adelino Henriques, predeceased her.

She was an avid gardener who also loved crocheting and knitting. Mrs Henriques enjoyed her time at the Grassmere Adult Day Care Center.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services, Friday, March 27, at 8:15 am, at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 8:45 am, at St Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will be in St Michael’s Garden Mausoleum, 2205 Stratford Avenue, Stratford. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday, March 26, from 4 to 7 pm.
