Helping SHOP Grow Stronger
To the Editor:
As a Sandy Hook resident and SHOP member, I would like to thank the team of CT Main Street Center, Arnett Muldrow & Associates, and NetMark Associates for all of their hard work on the marketing and branding campaign for Sandy Hook. With professionalism and sensitivity, the team held a series of workshops inviting the Sandy Hook community of residents, entrepreneurs, property owners, members of Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP), and other stakeholders to offer their unique perspectives and visions for the design district.
The hours of conversations, dating back to last fall, helped shape not only the marketing and branding campaign, but helped SHOP become a stronger organization that is positioned to respond to the needs of the community and to help lead Sandy Hook in a direction that best serves the entire community.
I am most grateful for the strong sense of unity that is ever present as we work together to help the community thrive both socially and economically. There is great pride in how far we have come, and I hope you will share in our excitement as we show you Sandy Hook as truly a place within us all.
