Police report that sometime between 2 am and 11 am on March 21, someone intentionally damaged windows at Stratford Hall and Plymouth Hall at the town-owned Fairfield Hills core campus. The damage constitutes third-degree criminal mischief.
Police ask anyone with information on the incident to contact Officer John McCluskey at the police station at 203-426-5841.
Mt Pleasant Road
About 6:40 am on March 16, while driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala sedan westward on Mt Pleasant Road, near Tory Lane, motorist Richard Holland, 61, of Naugatuck encountered a deer that suddenly entered the roadway and collided with the auto, police said.
Holland was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Warrant
Police report they arrested Tina Haskell, 25, of West Haven on a warrant on March 23, charging her with second-degree failure to appear in court, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny.
Police said the larceny and conspiracy charges stem from an alleged shoplifting incident at the Super Stop & Shop supermarket at Sand Hill Plaza at 228 South Main Street in September 2008.
After arrest processing, police released Haskell on $1,000 bail for an April 6 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
