Dog Obedience And Show Signups

Cassio Kennels offers classes for Competition Obedience, for all dogs starting with an April 5 session. Cindy Rubin, a competitor in obedience and agility for more than 20 years, and a noted instructor, will teach the classes.

Cassio Kennels also offers Basic Household Training, Rally, Agility and Puppy Preschool, along with the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Training and Test.

All dogs, including mixed breeds which have obtained an AKC Canine Partner Listing and purebred dogs with either an AKC Alternative Listing or registration number, are permitted to enter at the annual Greenwich Kennel Club All-Breed Dog Show, Obedience and Rally Trials to be held on Saturday, June 12 in Norwalk. This is one of the first all-breed shows in the region to allow mixed breeds to compete directly with purebred dogs in their Obedience and Rally classes. Entries close May 26.
