Boy Scout Troop 70 held its annual awards dinner on Saturday, March 20. This year the Annual Awards Dinner also coincided with the national 100th anniversary of scouting in America, and the dinner had this as its theme this year.

The dinner was held at the Newtown United Methodist Church on Church Hill Road.

During the dinner the pledge of allegiance was overseen by Senior Patrol Leader Mark Malia, the invocation was overseen by Assistant Scoutmaster Mark A. Malia III, the dinner procedures and introduction was done by Scoutmaster Ed Breitling.
