What A Mistake

To the Editor:

Gee, why didn’t Walgreen’s ask for permission to build a white vinyl skyscraper in town? Planning and Zoning would have said yes eventually.

Look at that monster building that is way too big for the space that did get approved. It is not attractive, and I am sure the future traffic jams and accidents there will become routine and legendary. Southbury’s Walgreen’s is a nice brick building that blends in with the landscape. This building just screams “Here I am” in an obnoxious way on a very busy corner. What a mistake.
