Red Cross Offering Lifeguard Training

BROOKFIELD — The Connecticut Chapter of the American Red Cross will conduct an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course at Greenknoll YMCA, 2 Huckleberry Hill Road.

The five-day comprehensive Lifeguard Training course teaches the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Participants will receive certification in first aid, CPR for the professional rescuer, automated external defibrillation, and lifeguard training. Participants must be at least 15 years of age.

The course will run April 18-22, daily from 10 am to 4 pm. Cost is $330.
