Chris Haylon

Haylon is a pitcher on the Newtown High School baseball team.

Favorite part about pitching: “I’m really competitive so I like going out there.”

Toughest aspect: “Practice is harder than the game,” said Haylon, adding that the adrenaline gets going in games and makes pitching easier.

Athlete he roots for: Clay Buchholz of the Red Sox.

Favorite subject: Physics.

Favorite food: Buffalo wings.
