Police Arrest Two Teenagers On Marijuana Charges

In a continuing investigation into illegal drug activity in town, police have made two arrests against teenagers on drug charges, according to Detective Sergeant Robert Tvardzik.

On March 21, police charged Kelin Smith, 17, of 11 Elana Lane with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana at that address, police said.

The arrest was made after a member of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at that address, police said.

Smith was released into the custody of his parents for a March 30 appearance in Danbury Superior Court, police said.

During the week of March 14, police charged Greg Goodkowsky, 18, of 47 Turkey Hill Terrace with sale of marijuana and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana after Goodkowsky allegedly sold marijuana at that address to a police officer who was working undercover for the task force, police said.

Goodkowsky was released on bail for a March 30 court appearance, police said.

Det Sgt Tvardzik said the two arrests are part of a continuing joint effort by town police and the task force to make arrests for illegal drug activity in town. More arrests are expected, he said.
