Melissa Ann Cummings and David Desmond Koellmer

Mr and Mrs Brian Cummings of Hickory Lane, Sandy Hook, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann Cummings, to David Desmond Koellmer, son of Dorothy Koellmer and the late John Koellmer of Danbury.

The bride-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Newtown High School and attended Western Connecticut State University. She is employed by Southbury Training School in direct care.

Mr Koellmer graduated from Henry Abbott Technical High School, Danbury, in 1994 and presently works at GP Tools as a machinist.

The couple has set June 4 as a wedding date.
