Marilyn E. (Lasky) Ball, 86, formerly of Danbury and Newtown, died at Danbury Health Care Center March 19. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Hills) Lasky and Frank Lasky. She grew up in Westport, one of 15 children, and moved to Wilton, where she raised her own family. 

She loved all kinds of animals, enjoyed gardening, fishing, and crocheting, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Her sons John Dotson of Bridgewater and Fred Dotson, and his wife Blithe, of Woodbury; her daughter Patricia Dotson of Danbury; her siblings and their spouses Donald and Therese Lasky, Edward and Nada Lasky, Dorothy and Bart Valiante, Joan and Howard Corsa, Tom and Toni Lasky, Evelyn and John Cyr, James and Nancy Lasky, Richard and Patricia Lasky, and Lorraine Littleton, Marge Marron, and Joseph Lasky; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews survive Mrs Ball. Her daughter Sharon Dotson, her sisters Patricia and Hope Lasky, and her brother Frank Lasky predeceased her.

Family and friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Sunday, March 29, from 2 to 4 pm. A prayer service will take place at 4 pm. Interment in Newtown Village Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
