Wolves Welcome

To the Editor:

Ah, unmistakable signs of an early spring. Crocuses are blooming, skunk cabbage cracking the ground, and clocks have sprung ahead by an hour.

In a couple of months another unmistakable sign of another awakening will occur as the new, young, spotted Bambis kick up their hooves for the first time and bound through the garden.

How cute.

Since all suggestions to control this ever-expanding deer population seem to have met stonewalls of questioning or rejection, and the occasional bobcat or coyote in my yard appears to be too small and too few to be a predatory threat to deer, perhaps importing into Paugussett North and South State Forests a few packs of wolves would help.
