Victor A. Albanesi

Cherished His Family

Victor A. Albanesi, 72, of Newtown, formerly of Danbury and Norwalk, died March 14, in Danbury Hospital. He was born August 4, 1939, in Norwalk, a son of Ethyl (Bennett) and Umberto Albanesi. He was the husband of Edith (Kaestner) Albanesi.

Mr Albanesi was employed as office supervisor for Nash Engineering in Norwalk, for 41 years. He was a board member of APICS the Association for Operations Management for 40 years.

He enjoyed bowling and golfing, but his favorite pastime was family time and camping trips.

In addition to his wife of more than 46 years, Mr Albanesi is survived by five children, Sheila Ward, and her husband Robert, of Newtown, Kim-Marie Slocum of Fla., Theresa “Giggles” Boyer of New York, David Albanesi, and his wife Dianne, of Bethel, and Dawn Albanesi of Pennsylvania; five siblings, Aletha Yuftczak of Newtown, Delores Moorman and Rhonna Albanesi of Danbury, Allen Albanesi of Fla., and Lorraine Zweeres, and her husband Raymond, of Bridgeport; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a daughter, Tina-Louise Albanesi, and three siblings.

A memorial service took place March 18.
