Bus Vs Deer
Police report that Eugene Pepin, 34, of Waterbury, who was driving a 2006 Ford school bus eastward on Sugar Street, near its intersection with Key Rock Road, at about 7 am on March 16, encountered a deer that had run onto the road, resulting in a collision.
Traveling on the MTM Transportation school bus were two passengers â one adult and one child, police said. There were no injuries. Police took no enforcement.
Sharp Curve
Motorist Jeffrey Rodriguez-Urena, 22, of Danbury was driving a 1990 Honda Civic coupe eastward near 24 Botsford Hill Road at about 1 am on March 20, when while negotiating a sharp curve to the left, the Honda went off the right side of the road and struck an earthen embankment, police said.
The accident occurred in the area where the Housatonic Railroad overpass crosses above Botsford Hill Road.
Rodriguez-Urena was not injured. Police said they issued him an infraction for making a restricted turn.

Exit Ramp
Police report a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wasserman Way and the Exit 11 off-ramp for Interstate 84 at about 3 pm on March 16.
In that incident, the front end of a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV, which was driven by Leann Arsenault, 45, of Southbury, struck the rear end of a 2008 Honda Civic sedan driven by Robin Murdock, 50, of Prospect, police said.
There were no injuries. Police said they verbally warned Arsenault for following too closely.
