Loving Mother And Grandmother

Anne Wachter Mudrick, 97, of Milford, died March 19, at West River Health Care, Milford. Born in Stratford, she was the daughter of Marie and Carl Mudrick.

Her three beloved children, including Judith Petro, and her husband James, of Sandy Hook; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two nieces and two nephews survive Mrs Mudrick. She was predeceased by her son Robert and three siblings.

Mrs Mudrick was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft for 23 years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Baldwin Senior Center, the Red Hat Club at West River and enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts, and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed square dancing and traveling.

Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, March 23, at 11 am, in St Mary’s Church, 70 Gulf Street, Milford, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Visiting hours were scheduled for Friday morning, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, in the Dennis & D’Arcy Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.
