Anna B. Seman, 95, of Ellenton, Fla., and previously a longtime resident of Newtown, died peacefully March 8. She was born in Yonkers, N.Y., June 8, 1916, a daughter of Mary (Warwick) and Steve Borros. Mrs Seman was the wife of the late Fred Seman for 66 years.
She grew up in Danbury. Her business career was with her husband at Holcomb Oil Company of Newtown, before retiring to Florida.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who always offered praise and support to everyone.
Her son Richard Seman, and his wife Marilyn; her daughter-in-law Sue; her eight grandchildren and their families, along with Cori and Cheryl survive Mrs Seman. She was predeceased by her son, Fred Seman, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Saturday, April 21, at 10 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery.
