James J. "Jimmy" Sayers, 26, formerly of Bethel, died March 19 at St Francis Hospital, Hartford. He was born in Danbury, December 29, 1989, and was the son of Suzanne (Sayers) Billerbach of Sandy Hook and William Smith of Sandy Hook.Hullfuneralservice.com.

He was a graduate of Bethel High School and had worked at various jobs.

In addition to his parents, his daughter Melina Marie Kollias of Danbury; stepfather Steven Billerbach of Sandy Hook; sisters Peggy Depallo and Sara Billerbach, both of Sandy Hook; brother Steven J. Billerbach of Brookfield; maternal grandmother Suzanne Sayers of Bethel; paternal grandfather William Smith of Norwalk; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins survive Mr Sayers.

The funeral will be conducted from the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, Thursday morning, March 24, at 11 am, with a graveside service to be held at Wooster Cemetery (Section 16), Danbury, at 11:30 am.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 23, from 2 to 4 pm, and in the evening from 7 to 9.
