Readers are invited to an evening of community, conversation, and culinary fun, when Connecticut Attorney General William Tong visits Newtown.

“Dumplings For Democracy” is planned for Thursday, March 27, at Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson Street.

A VIP Meet & Greet event will begin at 6, with the general event to then run from 6:40 until 9 pm.

AG Tong will demonstrate the art of making the perfect dumpling. At the same time, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about Connecticut’s future and the attorney general’s work to protect the rights of state residents.

Additional refreshments will also be served.

The fundraiser is being hosted by Newtown Democratic Town Committee.
