Newtowner Gets VP Post

The FA Bartlett Tree Expert Company of Stamford recently announced the promotion of Newtown resident Matthew Farin to assistant vice president of contracts administration and assistant secretary. 

As an officer of the company, Mr Farin plays an intricate and diverse role in the company’s operations, including heavy involvement in the bidding and contract process, support for more than 200 sales representatives, and corporate financial analysis. 

Mr Farin most recently served as internal auditor and director of contracts.  He has been with the corporation since graduating from the University of Connecticut more than 15 years ago with a bachelor’s degree in economics. 

Mr Farin, along with his wife Tricia and daughter Rebecca, has resided in Newtown for the past ten years where Tricia operates her own marketing company.
