View From The Fourth Grade

To the Editor:

I believe that as a student who this budget cut will affect, that it is not right. The children do not try to injure the economy, but we are who you are punishing. Our job is to go to school but if we have nothing to look forward to all day how will we do that? The younger children will look at school with hatred, the high school children will have no chance of getting into college.

I as a still younger student in fourth grade urge you not to do this to us.
