Support For The Kids Care Club

To the Editor:

Thank you for printing the article about the Hawley School Kids Care Club. The article pointed out the positive things that the children are doing to make a difference in society, even at their age.

We would like to acknowledge the kindness and generosity of Don Bates and Cathy Dahlmeyer of the Drug Center Pharmacy. Mrs Dahlmeyer packaged up the items that the children collected to be donated to the soldiers and sailors serving on the USS Harry S. Truman. She also prepared the necessary customs paperwork. Mr Bates paid for all of the shipping expenses. We would like to thank them for their support of the Hawley School Kids Care Club.
