Pearl E. Cabral
Pearl E. Cabral, 65, of Todds Road, Sandy Hook, died March 18 in Danbury Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport February 24, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles and Delphine Ackerson.
A resident of Newtown for more than 35 years, Pearl was a member of the Grace Christian Fellowship.
Pearl is survived by three sons, Walter Cabral of Meriden, and Wayne and Douglas Cabral of Newtown; four daughters, Darlene Start and her husband, Chris, of Woodbury, Lorribeth Pavone and her husband, Emanual, of Newtown, Lynn Allen and her husband, Robert, of Prospect, and Tracy Cabral of Newtown; ten grandchildren, Nicholas Cabral, Dakotah Lajoie, Walter Cabral, Jr, Andrew Cabral, Matthew Cabral, Nathan Cabral, Kayla Cabral, Salena Cabral, Ashley Cabral, and Cherokee Belval-Pavone; a brother, Thomas Ackerson of Danbury; and three special nieces, Susan Nunes and her husband, Joe, of Inverness, Fla., Debbie Sizemore of Inverness, and Sandra Canning of Jacksonville, Fla. She was predeceased by two sons, Matthew Cabral and Earl A. Cabral, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 24, at 2 pm in Grace Christian Fellowship, 174 Mt Pleasant Road (Route 6), Newtown. There are no calling hours. Cremation will take place at Mountain Grove Crematory, Bridgeport. Burial of the cremains will be in Zoar Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
