Sandra Johnson and Robert Murray were married July 13 in Newtown Meeting House by the Rev Douglas Johnson, the brideâs uncle.
The bride is the daughter of Diana and Wayland Johnson of Newtown.
The groom is the son of Linda Murray of Albany, N.Y., and Robert and Eileen Murray of Glens Falls, N.Y.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
The bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1989, Columbia University in 1993, and is a medical student at Boston University School of Medicine, Class of 2005.
The groom graduated from Glens Falls High School, Union College in 1994, and the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1998. He is an emergency medicine physician at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Mass.
A reception followed the ceremony at Terrywile Park and Mansion in Danbury.
Following a wedding trip to Maui and the Great Barrier Reef area of Australia, the couple is living in West Newton, Mass.
