Free Program On Sleep Disorders

TRUMBULL — The causes and treatment of sleep disorders will be the topic of a free program sponsored by the Center for Sleep Medicine at Bridgeport Hospital, 7 pm, March 26, at the Trumbull Marriott, 180 Hawley Lane.

The speakers will be Dr Herbert Scherzer, medical director of the center and chief of pulmonary diseases at Bridgeport Hospital, and Dr Michael Thorpy of SleepTech, the Center for Sleep Medicine’s partner. They will explain what can cause abnormal sleep patterns, what the health consequences may be, how sleep problems are evaluated, and what can be done to help ensure a good night’s sleep.
