Divorce Support Group Forming

DANBURY — Registration is now being accepted for an evening Divorce & Separation Support Group conducted by the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury, Inc. The group will meet for 8 weeks beginning April 1.

The Divorce & Separation Support Group, designed for adults contemplating, going through, or recently divorced, explores such topics as the mourning process of divorce, self-esteem, coping strategies for stress, anger and loneliness, and moving beyond the divorce.

The Women’s Center has been providing continuous services to Greater Danbury residents for 27 years. In addition to support groups, the Center offers counseling, crises intervention, workshops, prevention programs, two 24-hour hotlines, and a referral helpline.
