  Program On Alzheimer’s Disease And Dementia At Danbury Hospital

DANBURY — A Medical Town Meeting discussing “What You Want To Know About Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia” will take place on Tuesday, March 25, at the Danbury Hospital’s auditorium from 7 to 8:30 pm.

A neurologist, neuropsychologist, and a psychiatrist will address diagnosis, treatment, neuropsychological, psychiatric, and behavioral issues related to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Featured speakers will be Samuel Markind, MD, who is an attending physician in the Danbury Hospital Department of Medicine, Section of Neurology, and in private practice with Associated Neurologists, PC; Stephen Peters, PsyD, a practicing neuropsychologist at Associated Neurologists, PC, and Orestes J. Arcuni, MD, attending psychiatrist and chairman, Danbury Hospital Department of Psychiatry and physician member, Danbury Office of Physician Services, PC. Dr Markind also will serve as the program’s moderator.

Ample time will be provided for audience questions. Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meetings are free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. Prize drawings and light refreshments are provided. Park free in the Blue Visitor’s Parking Lot located on Hospital Avenue.
