Endre Lengyel, 83, of Sandy Hook died March 14, at his home. Mr Lengyel was born in Hungary and came to the United States in 1957.

A longtime resident of Trumbull, until he moved to Sandy Hook two-and-a-half years ago, Mr Lengyel was a building contractor until his retirement.

His wife, Charlotte (Chilly) Lengyel; a brother, Sandor Lengye, of Hungary; and nieces and nephews survive Mr Lengyel. His two brothers, Lois and Gyula Lengyel, predeceased him.

Funeral services and interment in Resurrection Cemetery are private.
