Ambulance Corps Sponsors Medical Training Course

The Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps is sponsoring a medical training program for the public.

Certification classes in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in automatic external defibrillation (AED) will be held at the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Training Center at 31 Peck’s Lane.

The class is slated for 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, May 2. The fee to participate is $40.

People interested in attending the class should register at the organization’s website, www.newtownambulancect.org. Internet users should click on the “community events” section of the website to find details. Also, interested people should provide their email address for notifications from the corps’ instructors.
