Newtown High School’s gymnastics team scored 124.950 points to defeat New Milford, which had 122.400, in a meet at Vasi’s International Gymnastics on March 10.

Cyrena Arokium scored an 8.2 on vault, 7.4 on bars, 6.85 on beam, and 8.0 on floor.

Ella Hall had an 8.0 on the vault, 7.6 on bars, 8.0 on beam, and 8.0 on her floor exercise.

Addie Sullivan recorded a 7.8 on vault, 8.3 on bars, 7.7 on beam, and 8.6 on floor.

Kayleigh Troy logged a 7.65 on vault, 7.4 on bars, 7.65 on beam, and 7.8 on floor.

The Nighthawk gymnasts are scheduled to compete in the South-West Conference championships on Saturday, March 20 in New Milford.
