DUI Warrant

After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Daniel Garvin, 31, of Bridgeport went to the police station on the afternoon of March 17 and was charged with driving under the influence and with making a restricted turn.

Police said the charges stem from a December 7 one-car accident in which Garvin was driving a 2002 Mazda Protégé sedan near 139 Poverty Hollow Road which then struck a utility pole.

On March 17, police released Garvin on $250 bail for a March 31 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
