Feinstein, Wlasuk At Nationals

Newtown High School track and field standouts Jake Feinstein and John Wlasuk competed in the Nike Indoor Nationals at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass this past weekend.

Feinstein was seventh among freshman boys in the 1 mile run, finishing in 4:35.78. Wlasuk placed 25th in the shot put event. Wlasuk also had an impressive performance at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships at The Armory Track & Field Center in New York City, placing 30th in the weight throw competition.
