The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary and Newtown Senior Center will co-host a low-cost Pet Wellness Clinic this month. The clinic is for local senior citizens.

Appointments are needed for the clinic, which will be conducted from 9 am until noon through a mobile unit parked outside the senior center, 8 Simpson Street, on Sunday, March 27.

Cost is $60 per pet, cash or check. Appointments will include a wellness check, vaccinations, and basic deworming. For dogs, the appointments will also include heartworm testing and prevention.

Ear cleaning/treatment, microchipping, flea/tick treatment, and nail clipping will also be available for additional fees.
