Comment By Phone And Stream Council’s March 18 Budget Hearing
As previously reported at newtownbee.com, Legislative Council Chairman Paul Lundquist is reminding residents who wish to comment on the proposed 2020-2021 school district and municipal budget can do so by phone by dialing in to the March 18 scheduled 7 pm Public Hearing at 203-270-4249.
Lundquist is asking that only residents seeking to comment use the dial-in service. Comments are also welcome by submitting them electronically by visiting www.newtown-ct.gov/technology-gis/webforms/contact-newtown-legislative-council
He is also requesting members of the public to not attend the hearing or subsequent regular council meeting in person, but to utilize the municipal video streaming service to view proceedings. A notice issued to The Newtown Bee Wednesday morning reminds residents that the hearing agenda is available at the following link: https://www.newtown-ct.gov/sites/newtownct/files/agendas/revised_lc_agenda_public_hearing_03-18-20_1.pdf
