Sleep Disorders 101 Presented At Meadow Ridge

REDDING — You’ll want to stay up for this one! On Tuesday, March 29, at 5:30 pm, sleep medicine specialist Andrew Tucker, PhD, will present a talk titled “Sleep Disorders 101” at Meadow Ridge, 100 Redding Road.

He will discuss everything you want and need to know about sleep disorders and provide the opportunity for a free risk assessment. Topics covered include how important a good night’s rest is to overall health, the risk factors for sleep disorders, and how they sleep disorders can affect heart health.

Dr Tucker is administrative director of the Danbury Hospital Sleep Disorders Center. He received a doctoral degree in Clinical Health Psychology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University, and completed his sleep medicine training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.

Dr Tucker is board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and has acquired nearly 20 years of experience in the field of clinical sleep medicine. He has been featured on ABC World News Tonight and in Men’s Health magazine, as has given numerous public and professional lectures on the topics of sleep and sleep disorders.
