Church Hill Crash

Police report a two-vehicle accident on Church Hill Road at the driveway for the Blue Colony Diner at about 4:48 pm March 14.

Westbound motorist Casey Kearns, 17, of 11 Dogwood Terrace, who was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry sedan, was attempting to make a left turn into the diner’s driveway, as motorist Charles Miller, 64, of Roxbury was driving a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck eastward, police said.

The driver of an eastbound noncontact vehicle waved for the Toyota to make the turn, but the Dodge, which was traveling in another eastbound lane, inadvertently struck with the turning Toyota, police said.
