Winterset Skis British Columbia

Fifty-two area residents joined the Newtown Winterset Ski Club’s major trip to famed Whistler ski resort in British Columbia, Canada, during Presidents’ Week, February 20– 27. The Whistler ski area is the largest in North America with more than 8,000 acres of mountain trails of varying difficulty for all levels of skiing ability. Ski tour leader, Hamilton Brosious of Newtown, reports that the seven bright sunshine-filled days trip members enjoyed were remarkable for an area that frequently has periods of partially inclement weather.
