DANBURY â General problems that affect a good nightâs sleep like insomnia, disturbed sleep, restless legs syndrome, and other sleep disorders will be the focus of discussions by experts from the Sleep Disorders Center at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, April 6.
The Medical Town Meeting entitled âOpen Your Eyes To The Importance of Sleepâ will take place from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Danbury Hospital auditorium, 24 Hospital Avenue. Park free in the Blue Visitorâs Parking lot located on Hospital Avenue.
Featured speakers will be David Oelberg, MD, medical director of the Sleep Disorder Center at Danbury Hospital, and Arthur J. Spielman, PhD, diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a consultant at the Sleep Disorders Center at Danbury Hospital. Sleep technologists and staff from the hospitalâs Sleep Disorder Center also plan to participate in this program.
Ample time will be provided for audience questions. Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meetings are free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. A prize drawing, program-focused educational materials, and light refreshments will be provided.
