NYS Says Thanks
NYS Says Thanks
To the Editor:
We are writing to express our gratitude to everyone who helped to make the Newtown Youth Servicesâ 6th Annual Dinner Dance and Auction such a wonderful evening. To Bob Tendler and his staff at Coldwell Banker, we are in awe of your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication. Thank you on behalf of all the families and young people in the greater Newtown area who continue to benefit from your efforts.
A big thanks also to the two bands who donated their services, Eye Contact and Charisma. You kept us dancing and dancing. Special thanks too for the talents of Claudia Coopersmith, Richard Coopersmith, Cyndi DeMarco, Cheryl Barbour, Linda Pickwick, Jonathan Aragones, and Ray Ruzek. Your continuing dedication on behalf of Newtown youth and families is amazing.
We also wish to extend our warmest thanks to everyone who provided financial support for the event or donated an item for the live and silent auctions. The merchants, artists, and businesses of Newtown have proved their willingness to support our community over and over again. In return, we hope that our citizens will support them by keeping your business needs and purchases here!
Our hats off to the many volunteers â young and old â who made sure everything went as planned, especially Marlene Husvar and Emily Miller. And last (but not least) we are grateful to everyone who came last Saturday evening to share this annual event. Your support means a great deal to Newtown Youth Services â and we think you had a good time too!
