KAA Members’ Show Openings

KENT — The public is are invited to visit the Kent Art Association gallery to see more than 100 paintings and works of sculpture on display as part of the 2005 KAA Members’ Art Show and Sale. The show will be on view from Thursday, March 24, until Sunday April 24.

Kent Art Association is beginning its 82nd season of promoting and exhibiting realistic fine art. On display will be oils, watercolors, pastels and graphics as well as sculpture in various mediums. All of the works are for sale.

Many prize-winning artists from local areas and adjacent states will be represented in the show.

Two receptions are scheduled. There will be artists who are exhibiting present at both. The opening reception will be Friday, April 1, from 6 to 8 pm. The second one is the Awards Reception, where eight prizes will be awarded by the Jury of Awards. That reception is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, from 1 to 5 pm. Refreshments will be served.
