Justin Bloom and Katie DiPerrio

Mr and Mrs Anthony DiPerrio of Sandy Hook announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Elizabeth DiPerrio of Norwalk, to Justin Michael Bloom of Norwalk. Mr Bloom is the son of Hillard and Debbie Bloom of Norwalk.

Ms DiPerrio and Mr Bloom were engaged in St Maarten USVI in December 2003.

Ms DiPerrio is a 2000 graduate of Newtown High School and a 2004 graduate of Hofstra University with degrees in elementary education and English literature. She is presently employed by the Westport Board of Education as a second grade teacher.

Mr Bloom graduated from Norwalk High School in 2000 and from Hofstra University in 2004 with a degree in business administration. He is employed by Hillard Bloom Shellfish in Norwalk.

A June wedding is planned.
