Better Business Bureau Scholarship

The Connecticut Better Business Bureau has established a new student scholarship program. The Connecticut BBB Student Ethics Award recognizes high school students who personify high ethics demonstrated through leadership, community service, academic history, and overall personal integrity. This year, two Connecticut high school students will be selected by an independent panel of judges to receive scholarships of $2,500 each to an accredited college or university of his or her choice. The 2005 State scholarship winners will also be entered into the 2006 International BBB competition for an additional $2,500 award.

To be eligible, students must be a junior in a Connecticut high school and exhibit demonstrable strong ethical character. The award guidelines, criteria, and entry applications from the BBB website at www.ctbbb.org/student. The deadline for submitting entries is Friday, May 20.
