Occupation: I am the owner/operator of Park City Productions 06604 and a radio news correspondent.

Family: My wife is Sonni-Ann Iannuzzi and my daughter is Lemon Rose Iannuzzi.

Pets: Our three dogs, Elsie, Dot, and Splinters; and Joon the cat.

How long have you lived in Newtown? I moved here in May of last year, 2020.

What do you like to do in your free time? Before COVID we traveled quite a bit, but now mostly enjoy my yard. We have a little pond out back that I enjoy fishing in in the summer.

What is your favorite book? A Gentleman in Moscow. The book is set at the Metropol Hotel, which is located across from the Kremlin. It is a Cold War-era hotel that still is accepting guests. Everyone from Kim Jong Il to Michael Jackson stayed there, so naturally when I visited Moscow a few years ago, I needed to stay there. The book is historical fiction and tells the story of a Count under house arrest at the hotel, and is mainly set in the beautifully gaudy Metropol dining room. After having a meal in that very spot, I had to read the book. It didn’t disappoint. I’ve always been fascinated with Russian culture, probably as a result of growing up during the fall of communism.

What is your favorite travel destination? Russia.

What is the best part about Newtown? It’s peaceful. Neighbors are wonderful. Lots to do with my daughter. Just signed up for a Parent and Me Multi-Sport Spring Program (which I learned about in The Bee).

How can Newtown improve? As far as how Newtown could improve, it may sound silly, but the only thing I’d change is, I wish there was a sidewalk all the way down Church Hill Road to the Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop.

What organizations are you part of in Newtown? I moved here during COVID lockdown, but did join the St Rose of Lima Parish.

Who or what has been the greatest influence in your life? Personally, my faith. Professionally, my first boss in radio, Bill O’Shaughnessy. He knew that every person you meet in life has a story, and most times the plumber or delivery driver’s story is just as interesting and important to share as, say, the “social influencer” or “celebrity.”

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? My late grandfather Salvatore Iannuzzi. We had a lot of things we still wanted to do together, but ran out of time. He passed in 2016.

Who is your favorite musical artist? Paul Simon. Before he “retired,” I saw him perform dozens of times — such a great catalogue of music. I am also a massive “phan” of the Phish from Vermont.

What is the greatest piece of advice you have ever been given? When talking to people about family or money, “proceed as if you were handling a porcupine. Carefully.”

What is something you cannot live without? Chapstick.

What is your proudest accomplishment? Leaving a position at a leading radio syndication company in 2016 to start my own company.

If you could travel to the past or future, which would you choose and why? I’d travel back to the time of the Romanovs. See what really happened to Rasputin.

What is your favorite food? My favorite food would be anything from Jewel of Himalaya.

What is your favorite TV show? My favorite TV show is still The Golden Girls.

What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie would have to be Goodfellas.

What is your dream car? My dream car would be a 1977 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia (for my wife).
