The Newtown Rotary Club will launch its second annual Newtown Rotary Restaurant Raffle (NRRR) on Sunday, March 17.
NRRR Committee Chair Alex Villamil says he and members of the local club — celebrating its 85th anniversary this month — remind readers that the raffle is “a wonderful fundraiser for the community to be involved in and for all of us to support our local restaurants while we search for this year’s three lucky winners.”
NRRR Committee members also include Newtown Rotary members Neil and Jennifer Chaudhary, Vern Chong, Christopher Hoeffel, Mitzi Muller, and Jim O’Connor.
Proceeds from the NRRR will go back to the community to support local charities, organizations, and programs.
Tickets are $20 each and only 2,000 tickets will be sold. Winners will divide a pot of $100 gift cards from thirty local restaurants.
The first prize winner will win 15 gift cards, each valued at $100, for 15 restaurants. Second prize is 10 gift cards, and third prize is five gift cards.
