Newtown's historic Edmond Town Hall will screen Billy Wilder's Sabrina (1954) on Thursday, March 31, at 1 and 7 pm. Tickets are $2, and can be purchased at the box office prior to the shows. The historic building is at 45 Main Street, Newtown.Sabrina Fair. Audrey Hepburn stars in the title role, the daughter of the Larrabee family's chauffeur, who grew up along side affluent Larrabee sons, Linus (Humphrey Bogart) and David (William Holden). The men are polar opposites in personality: Linus is a serious and calculating business man groomed to take over the family business, and David is flirtatious and fickle, not to mention a disappointment to his family for his lack of business acumen.

Having barely noticed her growing up, Sabrina catches David's eye for sure after she returns from a two-year stint in Paris, which helps to transform her into a sophisticated woman. Unfortunately, the timing couldn't be worse for David's newfound interest in Sabrina, for he is about to wed the daughter of another powerful family with whom the Larrabees are sealing a business deal.

Linus cannot let the deal fall apart from David's lack of focus, so he concocts a plan to distract Sabrina himself. All his pretend doting begins to backfire when he realizes she is working her way into his own heart.
