Talent Search For Historic Inn’s Entertainment Calendar

WESTON — Bringing new vitality to Weston, cabaret performer and producer Elayne Cassara, a Weston resident, will be hosting a talent search at the historic Cobb’s Mill Inn with her partner Drew Friedman of Westport, on Sunday, March 25. The two have recently joined forces to bring new life to the historic Cobb’s Mill Inn, and entertainment will be a colossal component of the Mill’s innovative vitality.

The talent search will take place at La Roue Elayne at Cobb’s Mill Inn, 12 Old Mill Road in Weston.

Ms Cassara and Mr Friedman invite the community of Weston and surrounding communities to participate in an enriching community talent search. The goal is two-fold: artists are encouraged to showcase their talent and be selected for the Mill’s upcoming entertainment season while offering the community an opportunity to experience what Weston has to offer and voice their preference for performing artists.

Auditions will begin at 4 pm Sunday, March 25. Those auditioning will need to bring their own instruments and amps. A piano, drums, mics and PA system will be provided. All those auditioning should be prepared to perform two songs/numbers in their designated time slot.

All artists must register to receive a designated time slot for performance. Walk-ins will not be seen. Those who would like to be part of the audience are also asked to register.
