SUV Leaves Road, Shatters Pole, Plunges Into Dense Brush

About 5:17 pm on March 14, motorist Bryan Kilmuray, 18, of 90 Engleside Terrace, who was driving a 1998 Jeep Cherokee SUV northward on Boggs Hill Road just north of its intersection with Spring Road, lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the southbound lane and went off the southbound road shoulder, police said. The SUV then struck and shattered a utility pole, with the vehicle coming to rest in dense brush. Kilmurray was not injured. Police said they charged him with reckless driving, failure to drive to the right, and making a restricted turn. Police released Kilmurray on $300 bail for a March 28 court appearance.
