Correction

In this week’s story “Quilt Created By Middle Gate Third Graders In 2002 To Be Auctioned For A Scholarship” (page B7), The Bee incorrectly reported the disposition of proceeds from the auction if there are no student applicants for the scholarship. In that eventuality, the $350 contribution by Kelly and Ted Makuch reported in the story will be “voided,” according to the donors, and the proceeds from the auction will be added to the scholarship fund for next year.
