Citizens Wanted For Committee Posts

First Selectman Pat Llodra is calling residents who may be qualified, to consider volunteering to fill an open seat on one of several local commissions. The following seats are currently available:

Commission on Aging has an open position open to any registered voter.

Sustainable Energy has a vacancy for a Democrat or unaffiliated voter and an open position to a Republican, unaffiliated or Independent voter.

Hattertown Historic District: two open positions open to any party affiliation for an alternate and a full board member position.  There is also a vacant position for a Democrat or unaffiliated voter.

Board of Ethics: one position for an alternate member open to a Republican, unaffiliated or Independent voter.

Building Board of Appeals:  three long-term openings open to any party affiliation.

Conservation Commission: open position available to any registered voter.

Cultural Arts:  one open position available to any registered voter.

Water & Sewer Authority:  vacant position for a Republican or unaffiliated voter.
