Business Database Demonstration

At Library

Business people, job hunters, and town employees are invited to attend a free demonstration of AtoZdatabases, a premier reference and marketing database. The program will be in the meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, on Wednesday, March 28, from 3 to 4 pm.

A representative from the company will show how anyone with a Newtown library card can obtain free access to a database of 30 million US businesses and export lists for marketing or job hunting purposes.

Using this robust database, small businesses can find sales leads and create mailing lists to grow their business. Entrepreneurs can also identify similar business and competitors. Government agencies can access employment statistics, mapping, and traffic modeling. People who are unemployed can create lists of businesses to target.

Funding from the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library has made AtoZdatabases available at the library.

The event is free but sign up is requested as refreshments will be served.

Sign up at CHBoothLibrary.org or call 203-426-4533.
