William B. Kolesar of Ocala, Fla., died in his sleep at home on March 10. He and his wife, Milda Carlson Kolesar, lived in Newtown for 50 years before moving to Ocala in 2013.

Mr Kolesar was a past member of the Dodgingtown Volunteer Fire Co., a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church, and earned a black belt in karate, trained by Mike Porco. He was also an avid golfer, loved skydiving, bowling, watching the deer in the woods, and riding his motorcycle and driving his Jeep Cherokee, the "green hornet."

He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after 40 years of service.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, his sons and their spouses, Scott and Ann of Florida and Craig and Jeanine of New Hampshire, survive him. He was a proud grandpa/papa to six grandchildren: Zayne, Sloane, Caden, Julian, Hailey, and Hunter.

A memorial service will be conducted on April 23 in Ocala.
